Bye Bye Hondie

Well, who would believe it, but today we sadly sold the car, and our trip has officially come to an end.

We realized that we are very emotionally attached to the car and found it hard to sell, but it is no wonder as the car symbolizes our whole relocation experience. It is full of 35,300 miles of fun and good memories, from the time we bought it when we were new in Boston, through dozens of trips in the east coast and Canada, daily commute to work, everyday skiing, and of course, the ride back home from the hospital with sweet newborn Omri… Now you see why it was so hard for us to sell the car, not only this is the end of the trip, but also the end of the relocation…

But, we got a grip on ourselves, and a car is a car, and the memories will remain regardless, so we sold the car to a nice dealer, and we wish the next owners a happy time with our Hondie…

Looking back, this trip was an AMAZING adventure and a GREAT finish for two wonderful years in the US, it is sad to leave, but we are already looking forward to start a new chapter in our lives in Israel!

That’s it folks, this journal has come to an end as well, we hope you enjoyed reading it and we wish you all the best and Shana-Tova!

Welcome to Miami

Not such a nice welcoming. It’s very hot and humid and you wouldn’t believe the thunder storms! Crazy giant grey clouds and sudden thunder storms with crazy showers suddenly emerge. We went to visit Miami Beach area. We must say the name doesn’t live to the expectation.

The good thing is that are LOTS of Kosher Israeli food around here and we already had 2 Shnitzel Be’Pita and Schawarma.
