Southern feel

Yesterday we left Dayton, OH on our way south to Louisville, KY.

Kentucky is the gateway to the south, and it sure feels that way. On the radio you hear plenty of country music, and religious talks such as: "Share with us how Jesus changed you life". And today at the hotel there is a women only bible study group, things you don't typically see or hear in Boston.

Upon arrival to the hotel, we spent the evening in the pool, where Omri had his first full body swim, he liked the pool but not the life vest we put on him, we couldn't find any normal floating ring in several stores, only a life vest as if he his taking a rafting trip.

Today we went to visit Louisville downtown, it was hot and empty, we were probably the only stupid tourist to leave the hotel around noon, looks like all the action happens in the evening. We did see the Ohio river and "Belle of Louisville", an old Mississippi style steam boat.

Now we are taking a walk around the park near the hotel, it is quiet and beautiful.

We are keeping an open eye on the weather as there are some storm alerts around Nashville, where we are heading tomorrow.
